The eSIS team in coordination with Abu Dhabi System & Information Centre (ADSIC), the Private Schools and Quality Assurance Sector (PSQA) and Strategic Communications Division has commenced training workshops for all 91 private schools through appointed staff in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region. Once all private schools go live on the system, Adec will be able to easily obtain a consolidated holistic view of Abu Dhabi’s student population. “Now principals, vice principals and those in charge of IT across private schools are familiar with how the existing database information can be migrated to eSIS,” explained Engineer Al Dhaheri. The second phase was then implemented across 35 Asian schools with up to 99,944 students using the system by the end of September 2012. The eSIS training for private schools following a foreign curriculum is being rolled out during training sessions running concurrently for two days in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
