![]() ![]() Belief is a faith and our words aren't meant to hold any weight on you, since WE are the ones who believe and it shouldn't affect you, your beliefs are YOUR choices, if it does then sorry we exist.? The world we live in is very real, Christians know this aswell as an atheist person does, people are people, some atheists assume we are from amazing families etc, etc, lots of people in church are from broken backgrounds just like most 'average' people in today's world/ generation (since we ARE people may I remind you). I share your frustrations and hope you can find some way to accept that many people mean well but are either confused or misinformed about how belief is supposed to be presented.Īs a religious person I can confidently say you don't know anything about religious people and that is a harmful stereotype dude! As a modern-day Christian I believe in all science and believe that's how the world was created, most Christians believe this in the modern age, I for one FULLY believe it. Pen Gillette once said that if someone saw a bus about to run someone over they have a moral obligation to warn them regardless of weather that person believes in the bus or not.(I'm paragraphing) which makes sense to me. It's the inner book that counts not the outer book.Īs for believing in a higher power causing you to ehem.lose faith in our abilities to be free thinkers, I would argue that most atheist people also regurgitate the same points against religion.making it a defacto form of dogma. They believe that what matters is your relationship with your creator. I would encourage you to look into Rasta. You say you are against religion but only seem to mention the Bible (also which Bible.there are a few different versions) ![]() Most people don't even truly know what their religion states as it's cannon. ![]()
